Desert Rose (rosette formation of gypsum and barite)
In North American native mythology, it was believed that desert roses were carved by the spirits of dead warriors. They are found widely scattered, and the belief is that this is so no one will know where the spirits gather.
In the typical killas matrix of the St Agnes area, is a quite lustrous group of Vivianite crystals (to 7mm) and on the edges of the matrix are fragments of purple Fluorite.
